The holiday season is one of the happiest time. It’s a time that we focus on the light in our lives. It’s a time that we never really think about loss. We never think about things falling apart. It’s a time of bliss. Losing someone during the holiday season has to be one of the most traumatic experiences. It literally hits you harder because you’re really not expecting it. With all the tragedy going in the world I just wanted to say a small prayer for anyone who has recently loss someone or anyone who has been personally affected the recent events going on. In the midst of pain there is always hope, joy and a promise that one day everything will be okay.
Father God, I pray for those who has lost someone during this season. Father, console and heal their broken hearts. Father, comfort them and let them know they aren’t at fault and forgotten. During this time of grief and mourning, I ask you father to surround them with the ones closest to their hearts. Father, bestow on those the knowledge, understanding and the strength to help their love ones deal with this sudden tragedy. Father, I ask you to give them strength and a renewed purpose to carry on. Father, surround them with your love and your light. Father during the time of mourning, I ask you to remind them and help them find joy and comfort in you.
Bible Verse To Remember:
Lamentations 3:31-33 “For no one is cast off by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone.”
