4 Ways To Stay Inspired & Motivated

This year is all about growth for me. It’s about taking chances and not worrying about failure. It’s about being inspired and staying committed to the goals I set for myself. It’s about finding and doing things to constantly keep me motivated and inspired. In the past year, I struggled a lot with finding things to inspire me but as I look back the only one to blame is myself. I stifled my own creativity and inspiration. I didn’t live the life I am constantly envisioning for myself. I let my lack of confidence and low self-esteem get the better of me. I literally failed myself. I can honestly only laugh about it because it’s all in the past and I’m leaving that girl in 2015. So today, I just wanted to share with you guys 4 ways to stay inspired and motivated.

4 Ways To Stay Motivated & Determined

Try a change of scenery

  • I love the idea of going to a new place. Something for a new place just inspires me. I love the idea of meeting new people and just drawing inspiration from the people around me. Meet new people and Do new things. Don’t fall into the trap of letting the people in your life, who once stole all the motivation, happiness and optimism out of you. Move towards growth, possibilities, joy and new beginnings. Choose you. I also love the idea of using my new environment to get new ideas.

Step outside your comfort zone

  • Stepping outside your comfort zone can be frightening but once you get over that hurdle it is so rewarding. I love the idea of trying new things that I would never do or sometimes I am to afraid to do. It definitely inspires me to be more risky and take more chances.

Set attainable goals

  • Setting goals is always important. In life sometimes we feel stuck, uninspired and unmotivated and sometimes setting small attainable goals can pull us out of our ruts. I like the idea of setting weekly goals. This way each week you have something new to look forward to and  it’s also a way to uplift and reward yourself for following through on a goal.

Have a positive attitude/outlook on things.

  • The one thing that can really mess with your mindset is negativity. Negativity can really make you unmotivated and uninspired. I say stop worrying and stop letting the small stuff get to you. Let go of drama and be that person that forgives and forgets.
  • I love that you are leaving all of that negativity in the past! Growth is always a great thing to focus on. Staying positive and finding the light in any situation definitely keeps me inspired.
