If you are anything like me, you are constantly undergoing a process of personal growth and transformation. The truth is, most people feel that this is true for them. You could say that life is nothing but one long process of unfolding over time. One of the main lessons we need to learn in life is what we really are at our core. Regardless of our spiritual beliefs, there are practical things which anyone could benefit from. In this life at least, we may as well try to have as many distinct experiences as possible. After all, the higher the number of different situations you encounter, the more you are likely to learn about yourself. And getting to know yourself is quite possibly the highest goal there is in life. If you are at a loss, at the moment, as to what kinds of things you can do to get to know yourself a little better, then this might help. I have put together this short post to give you a guiding hand. Here are three things you can try your hand at to learn a little more about yourself.
It’s okay to fail. These are four little words I have to remind myself of daily. I’m the first to admit that I am afraid to fail. I’m afraid that all my hard work now isn’t going to result in anything. I’m afraid that I sometimes make decisions that will hinder my plans for the future. The thing is that fear of failing shouldn’t stop us from living. It shouldn’t stop us from doing that one or multiple things we are passionate about. However, fear is paralyzing. It makes us settle for what we think is best or settle for what we think we deserve. View Post
Hey guys, so last week I found out from Angela Lanter’s Snapchat that March is National Nutrition Month, so this week I’m sharing my Roasted Salmon recipe. Roasted salmon is one of my all time favorite recipes to prepare and eat. I just love everything about it. With Spring approaching, (YAY to the 60°weather this week in the New York area) I really want to commit to eating healthier options for the well-being of my body because I have a summer wedding coming up, I want to look and feel great. Check out the roasted salmon recipe below and, if you love Salmon as much as I do I would love to hear your how you prepare it. I’m always on the hunt for new ways to cook Salmon. Last month, I was given the amazing opportunity to attend the F/W 2016 NYFW showcase. I was so excited because I was finally getting the opportunity to live out a dream of mine. I remember the first time I heard about NYFW and from then on I’ve always been interested and I’ve always wanted to attend. Thankfully, Shopping Links was giving a few bloggers the opportunity to attend NYFW and I was picked to attend the Leanne Marshall NYFW F/W 2016 showcase. View Post
