I can’t believe in two weeks I’ll be vacationing in sunny Florida enjoying the Christmas festivities with my dad and the family. I’m so excited but I swear time is going by so slow lol. The fall semester is almost over and I’m so happy. This semester probably was my hardest. The work was just really hard and I was just having such a difficult time keeping up lol! Anyway thank goodness it’s almost over. Christmas shopping has been a blast. I am almost done. I have to confess I sort of got carried away and spent way to much money on gifts. I strayed so much from my original list that everyone will be getting extra gifts. Today’s Christmas gift guide is all about buying the perfect Christmas gift for your best friend. I already got my best friend the perfect gift (I can’t give it away because she reads my blog lol) and I just know she’ll love it. What are you buying your best friend this Christmas? Just in case you’re stumped you can use my gift guide as a guide on what to get him/her. Happy Holidays

It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year. I absolutely love all things Christmas from the food to the Hallmark Channel original Christmas movie, spending time with my love ones and also shopping for the perfect Christmas present. Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. This year I’ll be fortunate again to spend it with my family in Florida again so before I leave I have a lot of shopping to do. However, as usual I’m always stumped on what to buy everyone on my list. I have a silly confession, I’m someone who loves to shower people with gifts but when the time comes to actually buy the gift I never know what to buy lol. Fortunately, this year I’m prepared. I decided to create my own little gift guides and today I want to share with you all my first one. Today’s Christmas Gift Guide is catered to the people who love skin care and beauty products. I decided to categorize them just so that it would be easier to buy the gifts and also decide what I should and shouldn’t get people. Check out my Christmas Gift Guide For The Beauty/Skin Care Obsessed below and you can click each individual image to shop. Happy Holidays.

As beautiful as fall is (especially in New England) I prefer Summer. However, since there is nothing I can really do about the weather I embrace Fall in all its glory well the one thing I don’t do is overdose on the Pumpkin Spice Latte and attend an apple picking event. My favorite things about Fall are layers, fall boots and being able to burn my favorite scented candle. Every year I am always so excited to pull out my favorite boots or buy that new pair of boots that I’ve been eyeing for a while. Since this will hopefully be my last New England Fall I wanted a pair of boots that was stylish, affordable and comfortable because I wear boots almost everywhere I go during the Fall and Winter.
Even though it’s still warm outside my skin somehow knows that the seasons are changing. I normally have very oily skin but during the winter my skin is a combination of oily and dry and the one part on my face that suffers the most are my lips. My lips get so dry that I always have to keep it hydrated. I normally use the Victoria Secret lip-glosses and honestly I love them, but it’s not the ideal thing to wear to bed. Thankfully, I found the Coco Balm on this cute little Etsy shop “Poor and Pretty” filled with so many other wonderful homemade treats for your skin. However, the first product I decided to try from “Poor and Pretty” was their Coco Balm. I just love this lip balm for my lips. It’s the perfect transitional lip product. Girls, if any of you have extremely dry lips when the seasons are transitioning then the Coco Balm, is what you need. The Coco Balm is an all-natural vegan lip balm made with organic cocoa butter and coconut oil. The Coco Balm ingredients include candelilla wax, cocoa butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, and stevia in coconut oil, vitamin E oil. The ingredients used to make the Coco Balm is certified organic. It’s an all-natural product and it has no preservatives, no artificial color or flavoring. These blends of ingredients are so amazing for your lips. I’ve been using it regularly for the past two weeks and I have seen such an improvement in the texture of my lips. I just love when an inexpensive quality product has so much good benefits for your skin. The Coco Balm definitely will be my go-to product this winter. You can buy the Coco Balm for only $4.00 plus it smells really good and makes your lips taste yummy lol.

Last week, Lauren Conrad had her first ever NYFW runway show, where she showed her newest limited edition line “LC Runway for Kohl’s.” My first impression of this line was OMG this is stunning!!! I loved the scallop detail; the colors, the prints, the tulle, the fringe and a lot of her pieces had lace, which is my favorite. It’s so rare to find a clothing line, where every single piece is wearable and you just love it. I’ve always admired her style, but I never knew she had at Kohl’s until last week. The one thing I noticed about this line is that you can tell that it was vintage inspired. I loved the feminine touch each piece had to it and it’s definitely oozes of Lauren Conrad’s personal style and touch. So, before I bore you with my words let me show you some of my favorites from the LC Runway show and if you want you can shop her limited collection at Kohl’s.
