Music Discovery: Girls United!

Hey guys I’m back with another Music Discovery blog post to update you guys on new artist I discovered and this week it so happens that this amazing girl group who are contestants on this seasons X Factor called Girls United caught my ears and omg I absolutely love love what they did with the unreleased track from Ariana Grande called Pink Champagne.  I haven’t really been watching the X Factor at all this season just because I don’t really have the time to make the commitment to watch it but these girls definitely show promise and I think they have the look, the voice, the style and everything to make it in the music business. This is the first time I’ve seen a group that was auditioning release something like this so I don’t know if they didn’t make it to the live shows or if the rules have changed and they could continue making their cover videos as a way to promote themselves for votes for the X Factor because if they do make it to the live shows which I do watch they will be getting my votes. So guys check out Girls United version of Ariana Grande’s “Pink Champagne”   below

Artist Spotlight: Brandon and Leah

I was just sitting in my room totally vibing out to some music when I came across this amazing cover of a Mike Snow song called Animal. I’ve never heard of the artist Mike Snow but I’ve heard of the duo that covered the song Brandon and Leah and they are probably one of my favorite undiscovered duos. If you don’t know Brandon and Leah are Jenner’s and Brandon is Bruce Jenner’s son (basically they are related to the Kardashian’s by marriage). I’ve always love Brandon and Leah’s style of music, so whenever they come out with something new I always check it out. I just love the feel good vibe their music has and also because they are really a talented duo. Their music is different from what you would hear people singing today and I admire them for taking the path they are taking with their music, rather than using  the family connection to get ahead. Check out their cover of Mike Snow’s “Animal”  and after be sure to check out one of their most popular originals “Showstopper” right under the cover video 🙂 xoxo

Youtube Cover Artist of the Week!!!

I have been listening to this girl since Demi Lovato released her Here We Go Again in 2009. Her voice is amazing and I simply love what she did with this song. It certainly not an easy song to sing because Demi sings the song with so much emotion and just her vocal range is so powerful but Destiny she sang it and totally made this song her own which I love. I’m so happy she is back making videos because she took a long hiatus from making YouTube covers. Welcome Back Destiny!!
Check out her YouTube channel and her be sure to listen to her cover of Rihanna’s “Stay”
