Now that I live in Florida all my ankle boots are nicely packed in their boxes in a storage container. I know I know I’m sad too. The weather in Florida just doesn’t get cold enough to wear my ankle boots. Last winter it got to about 40 degrees but honestly when I stepped outside in my ankle boots to go to my nephew’s girlfriend birthday party, I had to run inside to change because my feet were so hot. I’m one of those girls who can’t wear my ankle boots unless it’s really cold and Florida’s 40 degree weather isn’t Connecticut’s 40 degree weather. I miss wearing ankle boots y’all but I don’t miss the cold weather lol. Every time I visit my favorite online stores to see what’s in style I always have to stop myself and remember that I don’t live in Connecticut anymore and buying these boots are an absolute waste of money. One of my favorite stores to buy boots at is surprisingly Forever21. I have to say that they are not only affordable but they are really good quality. I got these boots (pictured here) two years ago and they are still in perfect condition and I wore them almost everyday and did all my errands in them when I lived in as a nanny in New York. As beautiful as fall is (especially in New England) I prefer Summer. However, since there is nothing I can really do about the weather I embrace Fall in all its glory well the one thing I don’t do is overdose on the Pumpkin Spice Latte and attend an apple picking event. My favorite things about Fall are layers, fall boots and being able to burn my favorite scented candle. Every year I am always so excited to pull out my favorite boots or buy that new pair of boots that I’ve been eyeing for a while. Since this will hopefully be my last New England Fall I wanted a pair of boots that was stylish, affordable and comfortable because I wear boots almost everywhere I go during the Fall and Winter.
This Summer I’ll be going on vacation to Florida and I couldn’t be more excited. It’ll be my first time visiting Florida so I’ve been preparing. One of the ways I’ve been prepping for my trip is by shopping. I’ve gotten a couple of things but there are still so much more pieces on my wishlists. A vacation isn’t a vacation unless you have some new clothes. So here is some of the things on my vacation wishlists xx Enjoy and let me know what I should or shouldn’t buy. ♥
With Coachella weekend 1 approaching this weekend I hope you guys are preparing yourself for a weekend of fun, music, friends, laughter, partying and most importantly a good ole time. This week I’ll be focusing on a couple thing Coachella related but I first I want make a guide showing you guys some of the best places to shop to show off your Coachella Style. Hope you guys enjoy xx♥
1. Nasty Gal
NastyGal.com has an entire shop dedicated to finding your perfect festival outfit. They have such a wide selection of pieces that you can put together to totally make it your own or if you want you can simply look through their lookbook to get some inspiration if you’re in a style rut. Below you can check out my Top 3 outfits and you can visit NastyGal’s Festival Shop
2. Forever 21
Forever21.com is one of my favorite stores and I was so excited when I saw that they featured their Festival Shop this year on their homepage. With this store being very affordable, coming out with a Festival Shop was such a good idea since almost every girl and guy shops at Forever 21. The festival shop is no longer featured on their front page so you just have to look through the lookbooks they have featured to find your perfect festival outfit. They have a couple that I think are perfect for style your Coachella Outfit like Print Frenzy, Free Spirit, At First Bloom, etc If you don’t like what you see in the lookbooks browse the site or visit the store to style your own Coachella inspired outfit. Here are some of my favorite looks from the F21 website.
I also love ASOS Festival Shop even though a lot more of the clothes are a bit more dressier than what you would find. I still was able to go through their online Festival Shop and pick out some of my favorites.
I discovered Boohoo last week and I instantly feel in love with their Festival Shop. Boohoo’s festival shop has a lot of vibrant and colorful prints which is perfect and also the traditional bohemian look everyone rocks for coachella. This little online little online store is a gem. The prices are perfect and so are the clothes. Visit Boohoo’s festival collection and be amazed.
5. Free People
Free People’s entire website is dedicated to the dressing very free and expressive so it was really fun going through their website and picking out some of my favorite dresses and rompers. They have the best collection of dresses for festival season and also cute styled jumpsuits/rompers. Here are some of my favorite picks from FreePeople.com
Hope you guys enjoyed my guide to Coachella Shopping and I can’t wait to check out you’re Coachella outfits from Weekend 1 & 2. Have Fun and Be Safe guys xx♥
When I look at all the blogs, fashion websites, and browse my favorite online shop the one trend that I see all the time are rompers, jumpsuits and overalls. I have always loved the romper and I promised myself that one day if I found the perfect one I would run to the store and buy it. The one thing I could never decide on which one should I pick, which is probably the reason why I don’t own a bunch of them yet. Today I just wanted to show you guys some of my favorites and I also wanted you guys to help me pick one out. I desperately want to have a romper/jumpsuit/overall by the summer. So let me know which one is your favorite and which one I should buy. xoxo♥
