Holiday Gift Guide: For The Fitness Girl

Today’s holiday gift guide is all about the fitness girl. This holiday gift guide was highly requested by my sister so, of course, I had to oblige. My sister started her fitness journey a couple months ago, so when she’s not working, cooking, or hanging out out with her boyfriend Greg, she’s at the gym. Her dedication and discipline to becoming healthy has motivated me to start my own fitness journey next month. I honestly know it’s going to be a challenge because I’m a girl who loves to relax and can’t be bothered with sweating  or feeling icky after a workout but i’m going to put that all aside and commit to this. When it comes to gift giving it’s so important to not only give people gifts that they will love, but it’s so important to give gifts that people will cherish, appreciate and use. I try my best to do this when gift giving because I know how important it is to feel someone’s heart and love in the gift they are receiving from you. This is why for this week’s gift guide I’m focusing on the fitness girl. I have a lot of people in my life and a lot of my readers who love to go to the gym and who also simply love wearing workout clothes because it’s comfortable, so I know they will love this gift guide. Holiday Gift Guide: For The One Who Loves To Cook

Let us talk about how fast this year has gone by. Today, while looking at my calendar I realized that there are less than 50 days until Christmas. Can you believe it? Where has the year gone? Last week Friday, I celebrated my 26th birthday and now my family and I are gearing up for the holiday season. I’ve already planned out my holiday budget and figured out who I’ll be giving gifts to this holiday season. God knows that I am a last minute shopper but hopefully this year i can start shopping for everyone’s gifts by Thanksgiving week when all the sales start rolling in. Throughout the holiday season, I wanted to share with you all my themed holiday gift guides. Today, I’ll be sharing my holiday gift guide for the one that loves cooking. I have a lot of people in my life, including myself who love to bake, cook or who love getting brand new cookware and kitchen appliances.

This KitchenAid Stand Mixer is on everyone’s in my family Christmas wishlists. When I use to work as a nanny in New York, the family I worked for had a KitchenAid stand mixer and omg I use to rush at the opportunity to bake so I could use it. This is the ultimate Christmas present and if it’s in your budget this holiday season, you should definitely gift yourself this stand mixer or give it to a friend or relative who you know loves to bake. I also found these cute Mini Prep Mixing Bowls from Williams-Sonoma that are a must have. As you might have noticed my gift guide has a lot of cookware and appliances that are copper and rose gold. I just love that theme for the kitchen lol. Like this gorgeous Teapot and Infuser Set  or these Copper Finish Measuring Spoons. If you you’re gifting a bottle of wine this season you can pair it with this cute True Fabrications Viski Summit CorkscrewView Post

Just A Little Prayer

The holiday season is one of the happiest time. It’s a time that we focus on the light in our lives. It’s a time that we never really think about loss. We never think about things falling apart. It’s a time of bliss. Losing someone during the holiday season has to be one of the most traumatic experiences. It literally hits you harder because you’re really not expecting it. With all the tragedy going in the world I just wanted to say a small prayer for anyone who has recently loss someone or anyone who has been personally affected the recent events going on. In the midst of pain there is always hope, joy and a promise that one day everything will be okay.

Christmas Gift Guide // For The Skin Care and Makeup Obsessed

It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year. I absolutely love all things Christmas from the food to the Hallmark Channel original Christmas movie, spending time with my love ones and also shopping for the perfect Christmas present. Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. This year I’ll be fortunate again to spend it with my family in Florida again so before I leave I have a lot of shopping to do. However, as usual I’m always stumped on what to buy everyone on my list. I have a silly confession, I’m someone who loves to shower people with gifts but when the time comes to actually buy the gift I never know what to buy lol. Fortunately, this year I’m prepared. I decided to create my own little gift guides and today I want to share with you all my first one. Today’s Christmas Gift Guide is catered to the people who love skin care and beauty products. I decided to categorize them just so that it would be easier to buy the gifts and also decide what I should and shouldn’t get people. Check out my Christmas Gift Guide For The Beauty/Skin Care Obsessed below and you can click each individual image to shop. Happy Holidays.

December 6th: Take Time for You

Slow Down, Breathe, Take A Second and Then Start Again.

6

Today is December 6th and its officially 19 days until Christmas. For some this is a very stressful time, whether your shopping for gifts or just trying to make sure all your holiday prep is finished in time. My advice is to take everything one step at a time. During stressful situation, I always just stop to take a breather. What I’ve noticed is that if I have a lot to do, the one thing that helps is making a list and planning. Never go into any situation without prior planning. Knowing what you have to do and making plans helps alleviate a lot of stress. Also, never think you can do it all by yourself, it never hurts to ask for help. Lastly, don’t forget to take time for yourself. it is the best stress reliever.
