Jane The Virgin is back!!! I swear this was the longest hiatus ever. Last season, if you remember Jane The Virgin ended the season with one of the biggest cliffhangers. (Jane’s baby was kidnapped) The season opened up with Jane and Rafael sitting in her hospital room going through pictures on their phone for the birthing announcement. In comes the “actual” nurse who announces she’s here to take Mateo for his hearing test. The only thing is Mateo already left with another nurse for the same test. After talking with the nurse, they realized that Mateo has in fact been kidnapped and Jane officially goes into panic mood but not in any normal way like omg my child has been kidnapped what do I do mood. Jane surprisingly held it together even though she was freaking out in her own little way. I had to laugh a bit seeing how Jane was so concerned about the schedule she had set in place for Mateo and if she didn’t get him back he would miss a feeding and diaper change. Somewhere in a bar Michael is drinking his sorrows away when he gets a call from Sin Rostro that she has kidnapped Mateo and wants to trade him for this brooch, which we later found out from Nadine has all the identities of all the criminals Sin Rostro helped changed their identities. I was actually so mad that Sin Rostro kidnapped a new-born baby for a damn piece of jewelry. How stupid right? Anyway long story short Michael, Rafael and Jane all teamed up to find the brooch that apparently Luisa had. I swear Luisa needs to get over Rose. Once they found the brooch that ended up in the pool filter they made the trade and Mateo was finally returned to Jane & Rafael. Once all the craziness from the kidnapping died down we actually got to witness Michael being the bigger man. I am Team Rafael, but last night’s episode almost tempted me to switch sides until Michael called someone a told them to inform Nadine to ditch her phone. Michael really doesn’t think at all. He just acts. View Post
The midseason finale of Jane The Virgin was a shocker and very revealing. A lot of people’s true characters were revealed and a shocking twist left me dumbfounded but first let’s recap. On Chapter 8 of Jane The Virgin, Jane finally told Rafael that she’s a virgin. Luisa was actually in Mexico on a bender but her life was turned around after she came back from a retreat in Peru. She wanted to tell the truth about her affair with Rosa but Rosa had her sent to a mental institute. Xiomara recorded a demo with Elliott Lantana thanks to Rogelio. Petra hired an escort to drug and make it seem like she slept with Rafael so Jane would end things. This failed because the escort told the truth. Jane decides to drop the lawsuit against Luisa because of her abuela. Lastly, Rafael told Jane the truth about the lawsuit and then Rafael professed his love for Jane that’s what you missed on Chapter 8 of Jane The Virgin.
Chapter 8 opened with a flashback to the time when Jane wrote her first short story. It was always Jane’s dream to become a writer and when she wrote her first short story she was so excited but as she was about to show her mother she overheard Alba arguing with Xiomara about how much her dream was costing them and the fact that having a dream wasn’t practical because it didn’t pay the bills. However, after that Jane never forgot her dream but she kept it hidden and when she got the email her short story based on her mother was about to be published she almost passed up the opportunity but thankfully Xiomara forged her signature on the publishing consent form.
Meanwhile, Jane and Rafael are at a sonogram and Petra shows up and decides all of a sudden that she wants to be apart of the baby’s life. She’s claiming that due to some documents she and Rafael signed when they were married she has a claim to the baby. Petra is so dramatic. She hires a fancy lawyer and made the entire custody ordeal a public matter by going to the press. We all know she is just doing this for the money because if she gains custody of the baby Rafael has to pay her child support. After a lot of convincing Rafael decides to go along with the plan Michael proposed to Jane to take down Petra. When Jane and Petra finally meet to discuss the custody of the baby, Petra tells Jane this emotional story of her father who died a week before the Berlin Wall fell and that losing someone she loved and barely got to know was heartbreaking and that’s why she wants to get custody of the baby because she can’t bear to lose someone she loves again. To be honest Petra was very convincing and I started to believe that she really loved this baby and her motives were sincere but after Rafael heard her little emotional story over the wire and he realized that Petra was lying yet again. Rafael realized the date the Berlin Wall fell and her birthdate didn’t match up and Jane realized that Petra isn’t who she says she is. Petra’s own lies came back and bit her in the butt because when Rafael hired a Private Investigator he found out that Petra is just using some dead girl’s identity as her own and that Ivan helped her change her identity and that’s why she owes him all that money. We also find out that Milos is the reason why Magda is a wheelchair because he’s Petra’s scorned ex lover who decided to get revenge on Petra but Magda suffered instead and that’s why Petra’s hiding.
Michael now thinks that Rafael is Sin Rostro. He’s so far gone and this path of revenge that he is on is clouding his judgment. He asked his brother Billy who doesn’t even trust and who doesn’t even like him to snoop around the hotel to find any clues that could implicate Rafael. Billy steals Rafael’s wallet and they find a key sewn into his wallet, which happens to be for a safe in Rafael’s office filled with cash, passports and a burner phone. I have to admit that this new information really threw me and I’m starting to wonder if Michael’s theory about Rafael is true. However, Michael should have looked through the items in the safe because the next day when they went with a search warrant everything was gone and his one lead was gone until they found that secret tunnel in their stakeout room under the tub.
Rogelio is really the sweetest person ever. I love that he selflessly does things for Jane and Xiomara. After Xo’s meeting with the producer went bad and she was considering giving up, Rogelio contacted Paulina Rubio (Xo’s idol) and after Paulina gave her some words of encouragement Xiomara was back on track to pursuing her dreams. Also who knew Alba was such an angry drunk. She was so furious with Petra for messing with Jane and the baby that when she went to Petra’s hotel room she met Magda and heard Ivan calling out for help. What happened next to Alba was so heartbreaking. I knew Magda was faking it and when she shoved Alba down those stairs and they showed her standing up it confirmed all of my suspicions.
It feels like only yesterday we were watching the series premiere of Jane The Virgin and now by the Fall Finale Jane The Virgin has become the surprise breakout show on The CW. Jane The Virgin has become one of my Top Ten favorite shows this fall. I’m so happy I didn’t judge the show based on its name or else I would definitely missed out on a good one. I can’t wait for the winter premiere.

Do you think there is a Sin Rostro and Rafael connection?
Where do you think the secret tunnel under the tub leads?
Who do you think tipped off Rafael about Michael finding the safe? (I think it was Billy?)
Were you shocked that Magda was faking it?
In Monday’s episode we got to witness how Jane and Rafael met. Jane was in love with Rafael but he was a playboy and love that was once hot, soon turned cold because he never called Jane back. For 4yrs, 9months and 23days Jane kept the promise she made to her mom and she stayed away from guys like Rafael.
In the aftermath of the kiss, Rafael is eager to jump into this new relationship with Jane without even thinking that he just ended his marriage and just the night before Jane broke things off with Michael .The next morning after the kiss he calls and shows up at Jane’s house and before she could even say anything he utters the words that would make any girl forget that she’s having second thoughts.
“Before things go further, I wanna do things the right way and take you on a date.”
Seriously, could Rafael Solano be any sweeter. When he tried to lean in for a kiss, it would have been another perfect magical moment between them but Jane stopped it. She just couldn’t shake all the drama, like them being from two different worlds, the fact that he’s still married to crazy Petra, the baby and her breakup with Michael. We have Xiomara warning Jane that she shouldn’t go down this path and we also have Jane’s conscience weighing heavy on her. She knows that there is something between her and Rafael. It’s a feeling that she describes as them possibly being meant to be but she doesn’t want to act on those feelings
Now let’s discuss Petra’s dilemma. Last week Ivan showed up to Petra’s room for his $250K and she knocked him out after he attacked her. Now Petra and Magda are holding him hostage. Her dilemma is that either she kills him or let’s him go but if she lets him go he’ll run to Milos, who apparently is scarier than Ivan. Petra’s so desperate to get her hands on this money that first she goes to Lachlan, who turns her down because he doesn’t want to get burned twice. She then devises this plan to gain Ivan’s trust, which at first I thought was an accident. She somehow saw Ivan’s peanut allergy bracelet and uses that knowledge to poison and then save his life. This was like total genius because now he’s forever thankful. Petra then goes back to Lachlan and this time she takes her mother’s advice and uses what she was given. Petra sleeps with Lachlan and in return he gives her 350K and she gives him damning evidence that will end Rafael and he’ll get control of the hotel.
There’s a new man in town and his name is Marco. He’s a single dad, ex pro soccer player and he has his eyes on Xiomara thanks to his little daughter Eva, who takes Xiomara’s dance classes. Since Rogelio and Xiomara aren’t together anymore because Xiomara doesn’t want to complicate his relationship with Jane she’s trying to move on. They are both trying to move on but it’s hard because they both love each other. Rogelio is stressing out. He’s dramatic and just being over the top about everything like his dinner with Jane. Somehow he runs into Xiomara at The Marabella and they both agree to double date and it is just a disaster. Rogelio tries to embarrass Marco but it fails because he’s actually an amazing man who loves his daughter. He then gets drunk and ruins a moment between Xiomara and Marco. He’s too drunk to drive himself home so he ends up spending the night on Xiomara’s couch and drunkenly confesses that he was very jealous of Marco. I really don’t see them staying apart for too long. They love each way too much.
Later that night at the club Jane and her friends are celebrating their co-workers birthday and Rafael, who is an investor in the club, also happens to be there because he got them on the list. Originally, it was suppose to sort of be a date night for them but because of events that transpired earlier when Michael found the flowers from Rafael to Jane and a note that read, “Even though it’s not a date, I’m still going to kiss you again tonight,” Rafael decided to respect Jane’s wishes and give her space. However, when Jane got to the club and saw Rafael surrounded by women and then she saw some girl lick his neck, Rafael knew he had to put it all out there or else he would lose Jane forever. Rafael told Jane that he wanted to be with her, raise their baby together and he promised her things won’t get complicated with Petra because he’s divorcing her. He really put his heart out on the line and when Jane saw this all her fears were put to rest and she threw caution to wind and decided to go for it with Rafael. That night Rafael and Jane spent the night together. They first went to Target and shopped for all of Jane’s favorites and then they spent the night reminiscing about the past, spilling childhood secrets and talking about baby names. They ended up falling asleep together under the stars by the fire and in my book this was the most romantic night ever. I just love Rafael and Jane together. They always have magical moments when they’re together.
I just love watching Jane The Virgin. In last nights episode we saw a new and bolder side to Jane’s character. I love that she’s taking charge of her life and taking some risks along the way. I also love the nuns at her school. They are up to no good. It’s so funny how they’re advertising Jane as some type of fertility miracle to bring people into the church. Michael, on the other hand is totally losing points in my book. Why did he have to hook up with his partner? I know that he’s frustrated but if he wants to get back at Jane for being with Rafael this is not the way. Rogelio threatening Rafael was golden. Who knew Rogelio could be so scary. Rafael you better watch out because if you hurt Jane Rogelio is coming after you. Lastly, Rafael getting fired and then having to go to Mexico City was strange. I know Petra told Lachlan something that could ruin Rafael but him going to Mexico City in a hurry is just suspicious. What do you guys think that is all about?

Why do you think Rafael is going to Mexico City?
Do you think Jane will find out that Michael slept with his partner?
Last nights episode of Jane The Virgin was one of my favorites. It was definitely one of those episodes that if you’ve been watching the show from Chapter One, you would have been counting down the weeks until this episode aired. Jane overcame bullies, Rafael got arrested, and Petra got what she deserved, a relationship ended and one started.
Jane goes back to high school
Jane has been working towards getting her teaching degree and when she got her first student teaching assignment she wasn’t too happy because they placed her in a high school. Jane was bullied in high school so the thought of having to go back to high school even as a teacher was scary. Jane wanted to teach middle school girls so that she could inspire them, impart her wisdom and experience on them with the hope that they wouldn’t turn out to be bullies in high school. Sadly, even as an adult Jane couldn’t escape her bullies and they came in the form of twins, and to make it even worse they were Rogelio’s former stepdaughters Valeria and Victoria. These girls were up to no good and I think what sparked their hate for Jane was the fact that they were jealous of her because she was Rogelio’s daughter, she was getting all the attention, he bought Jane a new car and called Victoria and Valeria his “former stepdaughters.” First, they told the nuns that Jane was an unmarried pregnant woman and that she shouldn’t be teaching at a Catholic school. Second, after Jane talked to Rogelio about the twin’s behavior he bought them a car, which was their plan all along. Third, they made this website about Jane being a pregnant virgin and when Jane tried to get them to take it down, they accused Jane of smashing the tablet and Jane lost her student teaching job. Thankfully, Jane took her mother’s advice and she decided to enlist Rafael in her plan to bring down the twins. Jane got some pretty damning evidence against them and then she threatened to expose embarrassing pictures of the twins unless they told Sister Margaret Francis what they had done Who knew that by Jane setting these girls straight, she brought out a nicer, more compassionate side of them.
Rafael confesses his feelings
Jane has been spending a lot of time with Rafael. She’s been leaning on Rafael and venting to him about her high school days of being bullied and he has been that rock and support for her. She talked about the girls who bullied her in school and he was so sweet when he said that if they went to high school together he would have set those girls straight and noticed her. Rafael also took this opportunity to tell Jane how he felt about her. It was perfect and definitely a swoon worthy moment and his speech to Jane literally rendered her speechless. It was so romantic and I loved how they emphasized on Jane’s heart during this heartfelt moment.
“I’ve never been the type of guy that believes in fate or destiny. What are the chances? We kissed five years ago and now we’re here. It sounds crazy, but doesn’t this just feel like it’s meant to be?”~Rafael
Rafael’s in trouble
Petra’s mother punched her and when the cops came they blamed it on Rafael and he was arrested. Rafael spent the night in jail and then when he confronts her about it she has the audacity to pretend like what she’s saying is the truth. Petra and her mother worked up this entire plan just to nullify the prenup just so that they can get more money. It surprises me that Petra didn’t take and save of Rafael’s money while they were married because now she’s broke. She might be smart when it comes to scheming but when its time to prepare for a rainy day she’s stupid. When Petra and her mother didn’t want to leave Rafael’s penthouse he shut off the electricity, the water, so they were hot, sticky and uncomfortable. He even did a little bit of investigating and he found an eyewitness that was able to discredit Petra’s allegations against him and he finally got Petra and Magda out of his penthouse. However, Petra’s problems are just getting worse. The mystery guy who she was in car with (Ivan) called her up and demanded that he got the rest of the money that she owed him and since Rafael froze all of her accounts and she doesn’t have any rainy day funds. When Ivan came looking for Petra he almost got killed but she hit him in the head with an urn. I wonder if she killed him.
As one chapter closes
Jane just couldn’t bring herself to forgive Michael. The bad thing about it is that when she reflected upon the situation she remembered all the instances he lied to her. When she called off the engagement I understood that she didn’t want to start a life with Michael based on lies. At the ending of the episode when she broke up with him I was heartbroken. She basically threw three years of a relationship down the drain because of a lie he told. I am not against her decision but I really thought they would have worked it out. Even though I am #TeamRafael, it was hard watching Jane break up Michael. He really tried to win her back. He even created the scene from Rogelio’s telenovela with the yacht and the fancy dinner minus the snow but it didn’t work. Jane ended the relationship and there was nothing he could have said or done to change her mind.
Jane and Rafael kissed guys and it was perfect. I’ve been waiting for this moment since Chapter One and it finally happened and it was everything I hoped it would be. Even though it was a bit sudden and it might just be a rebound thing, it was still such a romantic moment between those two. Let all of #TeamRafael rejoice because Jafael is happening guys it’s happening.
Jane The Virgin is addicting. Each week I fall more and more in love with the show. Michael’s investigation into Sin Rostro is heating up, since he figured out that Rostro might be using the docks for his business and I’m excited to see where this new romance between Jane and Rafael will end up. So guys what did you think of Chapter Six? What big thing do you think will happen next?
TV Talk Back
How do you think Michael will respond once he finds out Jane is dating Rafael?
Do you think Petra and Ivan are somehow connected to Sin Rostro?
Are you #TeamRafael or #TeamMichael?
Last nights episode of Jane The Virgin taught us that sometimes you really do need your mother and that no matter what you guys may be going through your mother always has your best interest at heart. As you read that last sentence keep in mind that it only applies to Jane and not so much Petra. I do believe that Petra mother is interested in her but it’s for all the wrong reasons.
Last week Jane found out that Rogelio De La Vega was her father and throughout Chapter 5 we witness the aftermath of this revelation. Jane is so furious with her mother for keeping her father away from her all these years. I don’t see Jane letting this go. She might get over it but I don’t think she will fully forgive her mother for keeping someone so important away from her. Xiomara knew how much Jane yearned for a father but yet she still kept such a big secret away from her. I can understand where she’s coming from. I could understand her anger, I can understand her needing space and I can understand her not being able to forgive her mother just yet. It’s a lot to process and in a sense Xiomara did take away a part of Jane’s life and now she’s 23 yrs. old and doesn’t have a relationship with her father Rogelio. However, we can’t only put the blame on Xiomara, Rogelio needs to share the blame also because as he explained to Jane “he was 17 and he wasn’t ready.”
Meanwhile back on the set of Rogelio’s telenovela he’s preparing for the arrival of Jane. Rogelio is so dramatic. He wants to make this grand entrance to impress Jane but what he doesn’t know is that all this fame and fortune isn’t Jane’s thing and that’s not what she wants. Rogelio had his entire crew recreate the Mayan Ruins Chichen Itza. To him this was a place of significance and I was like aww this is so fatherly of him. He’s trying to show Jane something from his childhood. Guess what I was wrong because this place was only of significance to Rogelio because this is where he prayed to the Gods for great fame and fortune. Oh Rogelio had me fooled. He really sucked at this first impression and what made it so much worse was when he handed Jane his autobiography to read if she wanted to know more about him. OMG this made me so mad and I so agree with Jane when she said he was shallow and vain because it’s so true. Jane just wanted to show him baby pictures and he messed the entire thing up. He knew nothing about being a father and trying to make that connection and at first he really thought he could treat Jane as one of his fans or a character in one of his roles but he was wrong. Even though he knew this was the real deal he exaggerated the situation a bit too much. After their first meeting Jane was so frustrated because it was such a failure and all she wanted to do was talk to her mother but Jane wasn’t talking to her mother. Thankfully Michael talked to her and calmed her down, which he has been a lot recently and persuaded her to invite Rogelio over for dinner at their place. However, this was another failure because earlier Rogelio went to see Xiomara for advice and she crying and being the type of man Rogelio is, he felt sorry for Xiomara and tried to get Jane to forgive her mother and understand where she was coming. It did not go over so well and I think this was just too soon. He meant well but it wasn’t his place to tell Jane what to do about her relationship with her mother. I think that’s a problem with Rogelio, he just wants to step into the role of father right away without getting to know Jane first. He’s means well but he also needs to step back a bit. I’m very eager to see what turn his relationship with Jane will take and as he said to her during their third meeting “He’s not walking away from her even if it’s not perfect.” I loved what he said and that was very genuine. Rogelio is one of my favorites in the show and his storyline with Jane is really beautiful. I can’t wait to see how this blossoms.
I honestly can’t stand Michael’s brother Billy. Billy shows up again in Chapter 5 and demands that Michael gives him $2000 or else he’s not going to stay away from Jane. Later on when Jane tells Michael that Billy is dating her best friend at work he finally confesses about his dark past. I knew Michael had a secret but OMG stealing cars and selling them for parts and then having his brother take the fall for him, well if I was Billy I would feel like my brother owes me something but he needs to chill. He’s dating Jane’s best friend and I feel the only reason he’s doing it is to taunt Michael. I also feel like him showing up in this episode has deeper meaning and significance. I also feel like he’s somehow connected to Michael’s investigation. I don’t trust him at all.
It’s official Rafael and Petra is getting a divorce. He served her divorce papers, told her he doesn’t love her anymore and offered her $250,000, which was the agreed amount in their prenup. If you’ve been watching the show from Chapter One you would know that this is not the amount of money Petra wants. The $250,000 is chump change to the millions she wants so we all know Petra isn’t going down without a fight. Petra’s mother Magda is pure evil. This woman is up to no good. When Petra came back with the divorce papers and showed her mother Magda, she was upset but not defeated. Magda might be old and in a wheelchair but she’s no fool and she’s not weak. She has Petra’s interests in heart as long as she benefits and with this $250,000 Rafael was giving Petra she wasn’t benefiting at all. The next thing I saw was Magda moisturizing her hands and then POW she punched Petra in the eye. At first, I really thought she was punching Petra for being stupid and getting caught cheating but then the police arrived. Magda is very sly. I would have never suspected her to pull a move like that. I guess the saying is true the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. This woman made Petra blame Rafael for her black eye and then file a police report and they did all of this to nullify the prenup so they’ll probably get half or maybe all of Rafael’s money. Magda and Petra working together is going destructive. I often wonder if Magda even needs that wheelchair she’s in. She just doesn’t let that chair hold her back. I swear greed and the lust for money really makes a person act irrational.
Now that Jane knows that Rafael and Petra’s marriage is over she’s thinking of keeping the baby. She has always imagined the baby growing up and living with two loving parents and now that this is not going to happen she’s changing her tune and Rafael doesn’t want to share custody of the baby especially if Michael is in the picture. He’s even voiced his opinions to Rosa who is going to help find custody lawyers and then he let it slip that he doesn’t even know why Jane’s with Michael and Rosa picked up on it and asked him if he had feeling for Jane and replied “its complicated.” Everyone knows the “its complicated” actually means yes I have feelings but I don’t know what to do, how to feel or even trust these feelings. I’m guessing Rafael is still having sexy dreams about Jane and it’s making him feel things for Jane.
The silent feud that Michael and Rafael are having is just priceless. Every time they saw each other in this episode their actions towards each spoke volumes. There is a genuine hate between these two men. I can so foresee a fistfight coming pretty soon and now that Michael is willing to raise his baby Rafael is fuming. Rafael doesn’t want that at all.
In this episode we were also introduced to a new and very important character “Disgusting Tom.” Tom is a bellboy and apparently when Rafael gave Michael and his partner the list of employees who was working the night of Roman’s murder his name failed to make the list. In my opinion, the little details in this show you really have to pay attention to and I think Rafael not putting his name on the list for the police is very suspicious. I’m not saying Rafael is guilty; it’s just very suspicious that his name didn’t end up on the list of people to be interviewed by the police. Unfortunately, the police never got to interview “Disgusting Tom” because Rosa and Rafael found him almost dead in the hallway and before he died he mentioned a very important name “Sin Rostro.” Apparently, whoever murdered Tom was known as Sin Rostro or the man without a face and it so happens that this person is a person of interest in Michael’s investigation. So now Rosa and Rafael know that Sin Rostro is a drug king pin and also the person who Roman was supposed to be meeting the night he was murdered. It’s so crazy that all this is just coming to light. I just love the element of mystery Jane The Virgin has going on right now. Right now I’m curious to know whom this Sin Rostro is; it can literally be anybody. It can be a character we love so much or it can be someone who they haven’t even introduced yet or someone we would never suspect. I just love the mystery. R.I.P Disgusting Tom sucks we didn’t get to know more about you.
Lastly, one of the things I admire about Jane is that she’s honest and she expects the people around her to show her that same respect and be honest also. She can be a bit naïve but it’s one of the qualities I love so much about her. Throughout the episode as Jane and Michael are discussing their lives one of the things she demands from Michael is that he must always be honest with her especially during this time in her life, when there are so many obstacles she’s facing at the moment. I think this would have been the perfect moment for him to come clean about his prior knowledge about Petra’s affair but instead he kept quiet and said nothing. He’s doing everything out of love but when you love someone you owe them the truth at all times no matter how difficult it can be. When she found out he knew about the affair and that he pretended he didn’t know when she told him, this broke her. Jane felt betrayed, she thought that she knew Michael and she never expected him to keep something like this from her especially since she made it clear to him that she needed and wanted honesty at all time. I don’t think she’s going to forgive him and I don’t know if their relationship can survive this betrayal. He really messed up this time around and as I always say what happens in the dark always comes to light sooner than later.
So there you have it guys that’s my Chapter Five TV Talk. What did you guys think of the episode? I thought it was very thought provoking and I had to watch it twice just to get all the little hints and clues they dropped. Who knew Petra was pregnant at one point and they were actually in love. I was surprised that Petra was the one who gave Rafael the push to develop the location where the hotel is now located. I wish they had dived more into the Petra’s past instead of leaving us hanging from Chapter Four. I would love to know why Billy is dating Lina and why he needs $2000 from Michael. Overall the moral and theme of this entire episode was you really do need your mother and a perfect example of this was when Jane found out that Michael lied to her the first person she ran to without hesitation was her mother regardless of everything they were going through at the moment. The episode also revealed that nothing is perfect and that perfection is just a fantasy. In life things, people and relationships can just change without any warning and sometimes it can’t be prevented. This episode was really emotional and emotionally it wrecked my heart to see Jane so sad and in so much pain. I really hope she recovers from all this pain and betrayal. I want back the fun, happy and optimistic Jane.
